Christmas Appliqué Design your own personalised Christmas picture to create a Christmas card or special present. Twilight Club Age: 8 years +, Educator/ Facilitator:  Rachelle Green. £40 for 4 week block, Also 9th Nov, 16th Nov, 23rd Nov. 4pm – 6pm. Focussing on creature care, learn new facts about a different creature each week, from the wildlife on the Farm to domesticated animals. Working mindfully with animals, what can we learn from them, like a moving meditation working slowly, respectfully and quietly, developing our awareness of what their needs are walking, feeding, grooming and bedding and as twilight comes putting them all to bed. Safeguarding policies and procedures workshop Has it been a while since you reviewed your Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults policy? Is there a recommended template to assist you in the revision of your safeguarding policy? Are your procedures for safeguarding robust to cope with advances in technology or changes in the way you might be working with young people and vulnerable adults? Are you aware of PREVENT and does it inform your policies? Would you like professional advice and help to ensure your organisation and your staff are fully up to date and aware of any changes in DBS procedures and legislation? If you answered yes to any of those questions then attend this half day training workshop. There will be the opportunity to share examples of safeguarding issues and learn best practice, as well as receive valuable advice and resources to assist you in the review and revision of your safeguarding policies and procedures. 9.30am – 12.30pm (9.15am registration). Planning & Planting a Fruit Orchard Course 10am – 3pm at Monkton Wyld Court. The course is led by Tom Nancarrow from Pip & Stone Fruit Tree Services, a fruit tree specialist for pruning and planting trees and orchards.
